Twelve basic movements for badminton beginners!

All badminton players start from the beginner stage, the so-called "master leads the door to practice depends on the individual", but nowadays most badminton fans are difficult to hire a professional badminton coach, all the introductory knowledge is cobbled together. If there is a set of basic movement instruction specifically for entry-level players, it will surely benefit badminton enthusiasts. The following is a brief introduction to the twelve basic movements of badminton.

1. The primary condition for badminton serving is accuracy, no matter how to hold it, as long as it can ensure the stability of the ball. There are usually two ways to hold the ball with a badminton: the first is to gently pinch the tip of the feather with your fingers, and the ball support part is downward; The second is to lightly hold the ball with five fingers above the tray, with the ball holder part down.

2. Keep your hands as relaxed as possible when holding the racket in badminton to maximize the strength of your wrists.

3. When hitting the ball, strive to hit the ball in front of the body, and never let the ball fall below the neck height, otherwise the ball returned will have no attack.

4. In singles, unless you kill the ball, try not to hit the ball in the opponent's midfield, and try to play two corners as much as possible.

5. When hitting the ball, you must master the force, and when you can control the ball, find someone to practice hitting the four corners of the opposite court from the four corners, because hitting the four corners allows the opponent to run a long distance. Play the long ball from the rear corner to the opposite rear corner, and release the ball to the front corner. From the front two corners to pick the opposite back two corners, put the front two corner balls, a total of <> style of play can be derived.

6. The badminton singles serve should be as high and far as possible, the doubles serve should be short, the flight path of the ball should be close to the upper edge of the net, and the serve should be changeable.

7. The power is started from the feet, through the waist, shoulders, upper arms, elbows, forearms, wrists, fingers of a series of sequential transmission and accumulation process, similar to multi-stage rocket acceleration, each stage of acceleration after removing part of the mass and continuing to accelerate on the tail speed of the previous stage, and finally concentrated to the wrist fingers and hold the handle in one fell swoop. Any misordering or stall in the middle can seriously affect the acceleration process.

8. Most badminton lovers are the right hand, for the right hand of the racket, the right foot through the right leg, right hip, right shoulder, right arm, right elbow to the right hand is a force action and transmission line, in the process of force, the force point is not right or the body shakes too much will affect the action line of this force, resulting in inconcentrating and inaccurate landing point.

9. The internal and external rotation of the wrist is also a link that many people overlook, and this part of the power is crucial for the sudden acceleration when hitting the ball, and should be paid attention to from the beginning of learning the ball.

10. Try not to pick a high ball when receiving a doubles serve, and try to push the two ribs of the opponent's field as flat as possible when receiving the serve, so that the opponent can get up the high ball first and leave the offensive initiative to yourself.

11. When the opponent's serve is high, choose to save the ball or push the bottom line ball, the action of receiving the serve should not be too large, if you smash or save the ball too hard, you will often make a mistake, throw the ball off the net or push it out of bounds.

12. If the receiving serve is very passive, try to return the high ball diagonally, or return the opponent's backcourt high ball, and move the opponent to the backfield.

For entry-level badminton players, in the face of too many basic movements to learn, do not blindly swallow dates. After all, good habits are easy to develop when you first learn them, and the same is true for bad habits. Therefore, entry-level badminton players first need to determine what type of player they belong to, and then select the movements that are suitable for their own learning.
