How to view the parameters of a badminton racket?
When it comes to sports, many people think of running, swimming, basketball, and so on. But in real life, running is a difficult sport to stick to because it is boring. Therefore, some people will give up running and choose other sports, and the sport I want to introduce to you here is badminton.
Badminton is a sport that may feel very high-end and high-grade for everyone, but it is not. Badminton is a competitive sport, it will not be as boring nor boring as running.
After saying all this, let's get down to business, if you want to join the sport of badminton, you need to be equipped with one or several professional rackets, and what I want to introduce to you here is some parameters of the racket.
Rackets can be specifically divided into three categories: offensive and defensive. The decision on which type of racket is determined by the following five aspects: Weight, Grip, Tension, Balance, and Stiffness.
Weight racket weight
There are three standards for racket weight, which are 3U, 4U, and 5U (U is the unit of weight)
3u:85-89.9g 4u:80-84.9g
5u:75-79.9g
I'll explain it in five steps.
Grip handle size (thickness)
Tension threading pounds
There are two symbols "H" and "V", "H" for horizontal lines and "V" for vertical lines.
Take this shot as an example:
"H" cross line through pounds < = 24 pounds;
"V" vertical thread threading pounds<=22 pounds.
Therefore, we ourselves should not be exaggerated when choosing or re-changing the racket to pull pounds, because the pounds must be in the high pound range when threading, otherwise the racket is easy to deform.
Balance Point
The racket I refer to you does not have this parameter, and the balance parameter has the same representation as the stiffness parameter.
The balance point refers to the distance from the back of the racket to the fulcrum, the higher the value means the heavier the pat head (HH), and the lower the value means the lighter the pat head (HL).
The value I mentioned here refers to: which side the solid point on the balance point parameter bar is close, the closer (HH) means the heavier the pat head; Conversely, closer (HL) means lighter the head.
There are two specifications of grip size, old and new, and I will list them all for your reference:
Specifications: G1 G2 G3
New specifications for 2013: G6 G5 G4
Grip dimensions: 7.9cm 8.1cm 8.5cm
Stiffness medium tube hardness
The view of the hardness of the middle tube is the same as Balance's method.
The softness and hardness of the middle tube affects the feel of the ball. The softer the middle tube, the easier it is to control the racket, suitable for beginners; The harder the middle tube, the better the accuracy of the racket and the efficiency of power transmission, but the greater the force and reaction force, suitable for advanced players and professional players.
